General Services
Dental Care | Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Advanced dental care is available, including root canals, caps and braces through a referral to a local board certified veterinary dentist. |
Emergency and Critical Care After hours emergency and criticial care is provide by both Blue Pearl Veterinary Services (formerly Florida Veterinary Services)> 933-8944 and Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Services>265-4043.
Blue Pearl Veterinary Services is open 24 hours, 7 days a week with specialties in emergency and critical care. They also have board-certified specialists in cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, ophthamology, dermatology and surgery. They are located at 3000 Busch Lake Boulevard, Tampa 33614.
Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Services offers emergency and critical care>
Monday - Thursday: 4pm - 8am
Friday at 4pm thru Monday 8am (60 hour continuous service over the weekend).
Please let the emergency service know you are one of my clients so they can fax us the results of your visit. We want to be updated when one of our patients needs emegency help!!

Hospice / Euthanasia Services | Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with our clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity is maintained while providing them with an empathatic and loving environment. We provide services for cremation and, for those who would like, private cremations with return of your loved one's ashes. We also have a wonderful relationship with a hospice veterinarian who can come to your home if you wish to provide these same services. We honor your relationship with your pet and we are there in the "full circle" of their life. |
Immunization and Wellness Care | We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. We understand that wellness programs are not "standard". Each wellness program is tailored to your pet's specific needs, lifestyle, age, concurrent illnesses and also your philosophies on wellness. We respect your questions and decisions and strive to provide you with the answers you need to help you make the best decisions for your pet. |
Internal Medicine | We have forged a relationship with both Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital (formerly Florida Veterinary Services) and Tampa Bay Veterinary Referral Services to have the capability to refer your pet for any specialty they may need. |
Lasers We offer a cold therapy laser to help reduce inflammation, swelling and bring healing properties to injuries, wounds and arthritis. The deep penetrating wavelengths of light allows relief from pain through the release of endorphins and stimulates injured cells to heal and improves circulation of healing white blood cells. This therapy provides your geriatric pet relief from degenerative joint disease/arthritis and allows them to heal faster after surgery or any traumatic injury.
Some of the disorders that respond to laser therapy are:
* arthritis
* hip dysplasia* post surgical pain relief and increased healing
* ear infections and inflammation
* wound healing
* lacerations and abrasions

Radiology We provide Digital Radiology for our clients and their pets. Simply said....we can take
x-rays that are immediately available for viewing in the exam room with our clients. This is state-of-the-art technology that not only allows you to "see" what is occuring with your pet, but allows us to e-mail their x-rays to the radiologist for 24-hour turn-around consultations and provide you CD's with your pet's x-rays. We are continuously striving to make sure you and your pet have access to all that veterinary technology provides! |
UltraSound | This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. |
